Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 8 large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5g) Kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25g) Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (14g) Unsalted butter
  • 1 lb (450g) Ground breakfast sausage
  • 8 slices (200g) Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices (150g) Pre-cooked crispy bacon
  • 4 tbsp (56g) Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (10g) Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Brown the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it into small crumbles until no pink remains and edges are slightly crispy. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. Scramble the Eggs: Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until no streaks remain. In the same skillet (wiped clean), melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-low heat. Add eggs and cook, stirring gently, until 'soft-set' and still looking slightly moist. Remove from heat immediately.
  3. Prep the Rolls: Use a large serrated knife to slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch (23x33cm) baking dish.
