- 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
- 1 cup (115g) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup (55g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 oz (115g) fresh jalapeños
- 4 oz (115g) canned diced green chiles, drained
- 6 slices (60g) thick-cut bacon
- 1/2 tsp (3g) garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Finely dice the fresh jalapeños, ensuring they are uniform in size for consistent heat.
- Cook the bacon in a pan until mahogany-colored, then drain on paper towels and crumble.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded Cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the diced jalapeños and drained green chiles until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture into a 9-inch round baking dish or oven-safe skillet, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Top with the crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of extra cheese.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the center is heated through.
