Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (115g) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup (55g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz (115g) fresh jalapeños
  • 4 oz (115g) canned diced green chiles, drained
  • 6 slices (60g) thick-cut bacon
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Finely dice the fresh jalapeños, ensuring they are uniform in size for consistent heat.
  2. Cook the bacon in a pan until mahogany-colored, then drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  4. Fold in the shredded Cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in the diced jalapeños and drained green chiles until evenly distributed.
  6. Spread the mixture into a 9-inch round baking dish or oven-safe skillet, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Top with the crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of extra cheese.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the center is heated through.
