- 1/4 cup (60ml) low-sodium marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup (56g) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 10-12 slices mini pepperoni or turkey pepperoni (approx. 1 oz / 28g)
Instructions:
- Measure the marinara sauce into a leak-proof condiment cup and snap the lid tight.
- Portion the shredded mozzarella and pepperoni slices into the larger compartments of a 3-compartment bento box.
- Place the crackers in the largest dry compartment, ensuring they are physically separated from the cheese and meat using bento dividers to maintain crispness.
- To assemble at lunchtime, use a spoon or pepperoni slice to spread a thin layer of sauce onto a cracker, top with a pinch of mozzarella and one pepperoni slice, and repeat.
