Ingredients:
- 4 cups (600g) cooked turkey breast, finely diced
- ½ cup (60g) celery, finely minced
- ¼ cup (40g) red onion, finely minced
- ¾ cup (170g) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (5g) Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp (3g) salt
- ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
- ¼ tsp (1g) garlic powder
- 2 tbsp (8g) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon zest
Instructions:
- Dice the cooked turkey into small, uniform pieces (about ¼ inch). Finely mince the celery and red onion. Place all three ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until the mixture is smooth and fully integrated.
- Pour the dressing over the turkey mixture and gently fold the ingredients together using a rubber spatula until the turkey is evenly coated.
- Stir in the fresh parsley and lemon zest last to maintain their vibrant color and aromatic oils.
