Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, party style
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil spray
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken wings thoroughly dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture. For maximum crispness, let the wings sit uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Toss the wings in the spice mixture until lightly and evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not overlap, and lightly spritz the tops with oil.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, flip the wings using tongs, and cook for another 10 minutes until the skin is deep gold and firm.
  6. While wings are hot, toss them in a bowl with the melted butter, Buffalo hot sauce, and honey until well glazed.
