Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, party style
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp neutral oil spray
- 1/2 cup Buffalo hot sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken wings thoroughly dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture. For maximum crispness, let the wings sit uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Toss the wings in the spice mixture until lightly and evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not overlap, and lightly spritz the tops with oil.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip the wings using tongs, and cook for another 10 minutes until the skin is deep gold and firm.
- While wings are hot, toss them in a bowl with the melted butter, Buffalo hot sauce, and honey until well glazed.
