Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup Sriracha
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, chilled
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken wings bone-dry with paper towels to ensure maximum crispiness.
- In a medium bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- For oven cooking: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and arrange wings in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through. For air fryer: Set to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 18–22 minutes, shaking the basket every 7 minutes.
- While wings cook, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Remove sauce from heat and whisk in the chilled butter until the glaze is velvety.
- Toss the hot, crispy wings in the sauce immediately and serve.
